NYU commuting from Queens

Hey guys! I'm on the hunt for an apartment because I'll be attending NYU College of Dentistry in the fall. I'll be looking for places in queens. Can anyone give insight on which areas in Queens would be a 30-40 min commute?

Woodside, Elmhurst, Jackson Heights these are the places in Queens which are about 40 mins away. I think just one train. Relatively cheap rent as opposed to nyc.
