Id like to hear from current NYU dent students what they think about the school. or even people who have decided to attend nyu in the fall - why did u choose to do so?

yea we all get it , wa wa wa wa wa its so expensive, boo hoo. ok cry me a river. lets not discuss price, AT ALL. dont mention anything about money. thanks. youre not paying my bills soo...

in terms of the SCHOOL itself- education, reputation, clinical skills, preparation to be a GP or even a specialist- is nyu considered a good school? is nyu regarded differently as opposed to a semi random school like.....midwestern arizona or case or something random i dont know, u get what i mean (a smaller less prominent named school that not all of the general public will know about - i would have no idea what case is unless i was a dental applicant and saw it on the list of dental schools)

seriously plz dont cry over the money. Will people get a good solid education at nyu?

NYU is just as good as those semi-random schools you mentioned... but more expensive lol 🤣

smaller class sizes can be more personal and you may receive more attention from professors than you would in a school with a larger class size

According to my interview at NYU the large class size is subdivided into units, and each group sticks together almost as if there are separate incoming classes. With these smaller groups you get a smaller class size feel. According to my interview day the student to faculty ratio is just as competitive as the smaller schools... The reason the class is so large is bc they have the funds and the facility to train that many dentist. They have an 11 story building and a new building being built all dedicated to the dental program. So I don't think NYU being a large class will hurt you, bc they do a lot to give that small class feel and not just have you lost as a number in the sea of students. One can even argue it's a positive thing for specialties and such bc if you can finish higher in your class ranking lets say top 10 out of 360 looks much better than top 10 out of 50.
