NYU deposit by 1/15?

I have to deposit to nyu by tomorrow, 1/15.
Anyone know if I can fill out the date 1/15 on the check and sending it and they will get it after 1/15...is okay? Or, they should get it by 1/15 in their hands?

A little late to be asking this, no? I think they need it in their hands by Jan 15th, and I'm sure it says it in the acceptance packet.

Hammer out these details earlier.........but check the packet, Boston's said that must be sent by the 14th

if you dont live near NYU then I would go to FedEx right now and send it overnight. They also have a same day shipping option. Don't know how much that is.

You can also checkout DHL, UPS or some other courier service.

Reading some posts similar to this one makes me think I went over board:
sent deposit 12/8 via certified mail, sign on delivery, return notification, and a final call to ask a few days ago. You can never be too safe.....

Don't worry too much
I called NYU and they said they would prefer to have the deposit on hand by the 15 th.. But post mark 15 should be fine
I used UPS to do a 2 day shipping yesterday..
Just make sure you get a tracking number or some sorts..

Just to not confuse any other people
this is only for NYU.
I know Columbia wants to receive it by 15 th
