for those of you who were accepted at NYU and mailed out your $500 deposit for Jan 16th, did you receive any form of confirmation saying that NYU received it? I sent my deposit in and haven't heard anything from them.

You expect to hear from NYU just because you sent a deposit? Who do you think you are Donald Trump? Even Trump has to wait a week to get a call back from them.

NYU has one of the most disorganized Student Service Offices in the nation.

You can call and they will gladly check. The funny part that the deposit due date (Jan 16th) fell on a holiday and the school was closed.

Yes, I received a postcard from NYU last week stating that my deposit was received 😀 You can give them a call to find out.

I mailed mine out on the 10th via priority mail w/ certified mail. I wanted to make sure they received it in time

BTW, when did you interview at Stony Brook?

Yes, they send out a postcard saying that they've received the first deposit.
I received one.
And today they even cashed my check.
