Does anyone know if NYU cares wether you have eperience with a dentist or not? Is NYU more of a DAT or a GPA school? or both?

Of coarse they do. The first question they are going to ask is why do you want to be a dentist? How are you going to anwser that if you don't have experience with one?

If you anwser bec you read about it and like the attributes...just not good enough justification. Get atleast 30 hours and you should be fine.

Oh yeah, they did ask at my interview to describe my dental experience, i.e what I saw, what I did, and what I thought of it.

Thank you for the reply. I think I should be fine since I'm currently working as an Orthodontic Assistant. Hopefully that will help me.
