I was just wondering whether the NYU GPA cut off is enforced or not. I mean, how can the average GPA be 3.23 for last year's entering class unless they admitted people below 3.1? I mean, I understand it IS possible, but it seems highly unlikely. Unless of course, they only recently stated this GPA cut off.
I don't know. My GPA is very weak and was hoping to send in my Fall 2007-2008 grades but I realize that will put my app on hold until January, though I'm wondering if it will be worth it. I've taken a few DAT practice exams and scored an average of 24s across the board (only because I studied for the MCAT earlier this year) so I'm hoping my DAT in October will go well. I just wasn't sure if it was worth applying to NYU if I have a GPA below the cut off (yeah, it's really bad I know -- I'm quite ashamed)...
