Hi!
My interview at NYU is coming up and this is one of my top chipoice school so I am actually nervous and excited at the same time.
So does anyone in this forum able to give me some advice?
Also, is there any nice place to stay around? (I will be arriving one day before the interview)

Thank you so much is advice!

NYU was my favorite/most relaxed interview. The interviewer will ask you some questions off of a sheet of paper (nothing I haven't already answered at other interviews) and in between the questions I just had normal conversations about undergrad and whatnot (not dentistry related). Get there a little early because you will be called back by the order you get there...I think I interviewed around 7:45 and was done by 8:15. Then you fill out some paper work until another person takes you back to make sure you have all your pre-reqs then he/she will ask you stuff about if you think that you can adjust to the city life, etc. Then you listen to some presentations and go on the student led tour and eat lunch...it's more of a quick/relaxing interview compared to some other interviews I've been on so don't worry! And I stayed with a friend so I cannot give you advice on where to stay

Don't get nervous. It was one of the best interviews I had. And it was my first as well. Very relaxed and everyone super friendly. They get you excited about their school. After my interview I really loved the school. I got accepted there and I'm definitely going there!!
Oh and I stayed at hotel 32|32 very close to Empire State, 15 min walk to the school.

I interviewed on Friday. It was pretty straight forward. Mine took maybe 20 minutes, which actually freaked me out at first... I'd recommend checking out AirBnB. I stayed a block away from the school so I was able to get to the school easily with was important for me. I didn't want to be figuring out the city right before my interview, and it probably saved me $100 bucks. Plus you get a feel for living in a tiny place in the city.
