NYU Interview Length

For those that already interviewed at NYU...how long did it last til?

Interview typically runs 20-30 minutes. Mine went 40 or so, which was much longer than everyone elses, but I still got in.

My interview itself was only about 15 minutes. I left thinking that my interview being shorter than others' was a bad sign, but turns out it wasn't, coz I got in 😀 We were done with the tour, info session, finaid presentation, and lunch with their students by about 2pm... although, they say that they were interviewing more people than usual that day, so you might get out earlier!

mine was like 3 min..

my interviewer just briefly introduced NYU school of dentistry and then told me "oh~you look young and successful~" and I got in on dec 1st😀

I had a really cool interview-guy and we talked for awhile..by the time I got back to the conference room everyone else was already done and on to the financial aid talk or something. Got in Dec 4th.

Mine was about a hour long. It just kept on going and going and going. But He wanted to make sure I was making the right decision. Another person in my group her interview was about a hour and a half. While other peoples were about a half hour.
When it was all said and done, I got accepted.

I could be wrong, but I think PedioDr0185 was asking how long the day is. It was not stated in the invite letter and I remember being unsure of what to tell the parking attendant. I think the day ended around 1:00pm.

I got to the school at 720am, had my interview start at 730, that lasted an hour, then I sat in a room with the other prospectives, where we all talked, while the interviews were being finished up. then we talked about the school, fin-aid, courses, etc. took a tour of the school (impressive), ate lunch, and was done by about 1:30.

My interview was about 20 minutes and I honestly thought it went terrible...but I got in so you never know.
