NYU Interview

im beginning to think the lack of word from nyu means rejection is imminent

I have an interview at Columbia in December. I am thinking about calling NYU (or e-mailing them) to let them know I'll be in NYC ("in the area on such and such date").

Has anyone tried this and had luck? Is it even worth a try to get some interview couplin love?

"Acceptances are on a rolling basis. The first round of letters is expected to go out at the end of December. Acceptances will continue on a rolling basis until the class is filled. All wait list and rejection letters will be sent on February 15."

Yes. Got an email invite within 48 hours with my preferred date as an option.
