Dear Applicant:
At the request of the Committee on Admissions we are pleased to invite you for an interview in connection with your application for admission to the New York University School of Medicine.
Below is a list of the interview times that are available. You may arrange your interview by telephoning Peter Fenzel (212) 263-5290 Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Be sure to have paper and pen ready when you make this call - no confirmation letter will be sent to you.
Interviewing hours, October 4, 2004 thru January 14, 2005
Monday through Friday beginning at 9:00 AM
Interviews are usually 1/2 hour in length and tours of the school are about one hour. Tours will be provided at 11 AM and 1 PM on weekdays. You are invited to have lunch with our students at Noon. Please bring a 2 X 2 passport size photo with your name and AMCAS ID on the back for identification purposes.
At this time it's best to come in by the entrance at 550 First Avenue. You will need a photo ID to be allowed into the Medical Center. Once inside, follow directions for "Medical School Interviews". Our office is located on the ground floor of the Schwartz Lecture Hall Complex.
If you plan to come to your interview by public transportation you can take the First Avenue bus (M15-northbound) to 32nd St. or the Second Avenue bus (M15-southbound) to 31st Street. If you are coming from the west side of Manhattan, you can take either the M34 to 34th and First or the M16 (leaves from the Ninth Avenue end of the Port Authority Bus Termina)l to 34th and Second Avenue. Lexington Avenue (#6) subway stations are at 28th and 33rd Streets. We look forward to seeing you.
