Actually, I believe any dentist can do invisalign, all he/she has to do is attend some seminars or something and become certified to use it. I'm about to get a set myself. To make a long story short, lost my retainer when I was young, never went back, teeth shifted slightly, and invisalign is gonna fix that. There are cases where invisalign won't correct the problem. I think they take it on a case by case basis. It doesn't make the process any faster, but definately makes cleening your teeth easier. The last set you usually use as your retainer after treatment is complete. If anyone knows anything different about what I've posted, please correct me!
