when does NYU ask for LOR's...

is it true that NYU will look at applicants with a 7 or higher on verbal as long as the sciences are high (>10)? can someone tell me what their average GPA is? thanks

In the application instructions they have some sort of guideline about what kinds of stats you should have before applying there.

I believe the application said that their average GPA is 3.6, and that 3.4 is probably too low to apply with.
