Nyu Or Umdnj

UMDNJ. Granted it is said to be very political, the school is seen as an excellent clinical school. The reason I'm saying UMDNJ is because it is no better or worse as a whole than NYU, but it costs about 1/2 as much as NYU. The class size is smaller, and there is a new clinic being built (scheduled to be used first by the class of 2006/2007).

On that note, the choice is COMPLETELY yours. You've seen both schools, you know how each caters to your needs.

From what I've been told by other interviewees, students, and faculty, some of the administration there is known to do certain things for their own benefit, at times. I'm sure it happens at many schools, but UMDNJ is part of the UMD/Rutgers network. So, often times an admin's superior's wishes will take precedence over what the student body needs.

It's not all that bad, so it seems to me. But I'm just told by many people that, the good faculty aside, UMDNJ has some people who will do whatever it takes to get their grants or research goals accomplished at the students' expense.
