Thanks for the rejection today NYU, as if I didn't already know I was rejected for the class 2011 seeing as how its July and everything...

awww im sorrys too...i'm prob rejected as well..as i haven't heard crap yet...and went in las friday only to find more ppl interviewin ;(

why in the world would they be interviewing people this late in the cycle? were they international students or advance stadning students? sorry to hear about the rejection, i got plenty of them last year hence i'm a reapplicant, lol

nope i FOR SURE know they weren't intl' students b/c the director was like - we have a lot of competition, see we are still interviewin...~ what is that?!??!?!?!??!

I got a rejection from their Ortho program almost a year after I applied. It's about par for the course for them. They got the application fees, which is what they really care about.... it just took them a year to print out the rejection form letter and send it out....oh well, no loss....

I'm honestly not bothered by the rejection. I just think its ridiculous that it took this long for them to respond to anything.

I too am reapplying; this will be my third year. Some school could certainly make a lot more money off of me if they'd just let me in...

I am still waiting to here from BU. Maybe I will get an acceptance letter for this year on the same day I get the rejection letter for last year.

Oh yeah, I am still desperately waiting for my state school to call me up and say that someone deferred or just said "I don't wanna go to dental school after all" I'm counting the days until school begins. Its sad really...

third time huh? what are your stats. It seems so common these days to have to apply more than once.

Hey sorry to hear about this rejection situation. I didnt realize how many people are re applying over and over. I posted a question under the NYU waitlist thread wondering what the people who got rejected, what their stats were. Just curious about what these schools are requiring.
