NYU- Rubin Hall?

For any current nyu students living at rubin- i just got assigned a room 114, which is on the first floor- according to the rubin construction FAQ, all ground level windows of rubin will be covered in plywood during the construction!!! is this true??/ are the 1st floor and "ground" floor the same? im very concerned about living in a lightless shoebox for my first year- please help!
