Im looking at the stats on predent.com for nyu and it says gpa 3.29 in the heading but underneath the accepted pie chart it says gpa 3.6. Does that mean that all the people who were accepted into NYU had a 3.6 gpa.

The stats quoted for each school come from the ADEA publication. The stats in the pie charts are compiled from only those people who are registered on predents.com and have selected that particular school.

If everyone who got accepted to NYU and is attending had a predents account and accurately posted their stats, the numbers should match up, but not every student has an account and not everyone posts their stats (or tells the truth about them).
