NYU vs BU?

Why does BU have a bad reputation? I never heard of anything bad regarding BU.
NYU, on the other hand, is a different story. I heard their class size is huge and some students are booted out every year. Maybe rumors, but they seem true.
Totally untrue. That was years ago. But, for many years till now, their attrition rate has been significantly less than other schools. Visit predents.com and see what other applicants have to say about each respective school.
I havent' heard anything from BU yet..but there is absolutely nothing wrong w/ NYU. the only knock is that they have a big class, but its in NYC so you def. dont' have to worry about a lack of patients. Plus they train in you in cosmetic aspects of dentistry as well (pretty sweet if you ask me). And also, not every school has a stellar rep...i'm sure there are a handful of people at every school who will say their school blows. Its all what you make of it. Good luck!!...Also, and i forgot to mention this..if the size is the problem for you...consider this..many dental programs back in the day had a huge enrollment. I've been a handful of interviews and at most of them i talked to one of the faculty who said they attended a school w/ over 300 students in their class...and i'm willing to bet many practicing dentists out there had the same experience..and they're definitely not suffering
There are no dental school rankings. I pretty much believe that all dental schools are reputable institutions. But just to give you an idea of how other people perceive NYU (as a whole), here are some links:
