Congrats drdrums!!! Looks like we will be classmates after all. I noticed the same thing about AECOM jdovez though. I wonder why they took such a liking to us haha.

Yes, I have other acceptances; so it may be that the email only goes out to people that they see via AMCAS are holding an acceptance. i just withdrew from NYU officially, so I wont' get a letter in snail mail. Good luck to you!!!

I never got any e-mail asking me whether I expressed continued interest in NYU or any other email correspondence at all. I was holding on to an acceptance as well. Who knows, maybe my e'mail to NYU is screwed up and none of the emails are coming through. Either way, I still got the nice acceptance letter in the mail. 😀

Wait there's more...I got an acceptance email from AECOM, and an hour later one from NYU. Congrats Scoops, we are going to NYU!

That is straight bananas......a nice, euphoric hour though I imagine!!!

OK...HUGELY important detail I want to ask you all--scoops418, Bunsen Honeydew, and Drdrums--are all of you accepted at other schools already? I'm just wondering if they send that to accepted WL candidates who are already accepted elsewhere (which they can see on AMCAS online)...also PLEASE let me or the thread know when you get a letter and when it is dated if you're not to busy celebrating! Congrats to you all!!! (even if ur not going there...it which case my congrats are even bigger b/c that's one more spot open!)

Called NYU Admissions Office Friday at 4:45 EST...the woman on the phone said the class (which of course is currently full) had been "pretty quiet" in the past few days.
