No they havent been replying on emails and when i call, they say email lmao. I wish i couldve visit if i lived closer! i definitely wouldve done that. It seems to me people living there have a better chance.
Even if they don't reply to your e-mails, NYU admissions still notes it down in your file that you e-mailed them expressing interest. Yeah, the thread has quieted down for now, but it will definitely pick up again once June finishes and July begins. Keep your spirits up!
I got the same reply too.. 🙁
i know a kid who just withdrew (or will)
but they send out more acceptances than the class size so they might not get to the waitlist right away

Just thought I would check in with everyone. The wait list will keep moving up until 8/26 this year. I know last year, someone was accepted off the wait list right before the day orientation started. So keep in touch with NYUCD's admissions office. Every e-mail and call definitely counts and the admissions office will pull people off the wait list that show a true interest and desire in attending NYUCD. More seats should be available towards the end of this month, that's when peak movement occurs.
I believe orientation starts on the 19th and classes start the 26th

That schedule is inaccurate, they moved orientation to the week of the 27th and classes start the week after Labor Day.

Yup, that's correct. That means NYUCD admissions has an extra week to move people off of the wait list. 👍
