Other than getting a letter that they received your application and that some applicants may be admitted without an interview, has anyone heard or gotten an interview at NYU? Or has anyone heard from NYU when they plan to send interviews out?

hey Mich, I was just going to start a thread but you beat me into it! 😉

I just got off the phone with NYU. They told me they have already strarted the interview which to me was a shock because i don't know anyone (at least here) that has gotten an interview with them. Hopefully soon we will hear from them.

anyone else with news about NYU?

I know....its weird that no one else on SDN has posted the interview, because so many qualified students are on the network. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

Yah, I didnt get an interview invite yet either. I was told by some of the professors there that my DAT grades are definitely competitive though.

one of my friends here got an interview 3 days ago!!! i dont know what kind of operation they are running there? but i would really like to hear from them. The last time i heard from them was in the beginning of august.

I know that in the past it has been over 2000 applications. but this year with the surge of applicant does anybody knows/ can predict how many people have applied to NYU this year?
