Hello all,

Upon going on predents.com, and looking up the feedback for NYU, apparently they accept ppl on the spot.... How does that work?? And if anyone got in by that way, did you need wicked stats / extracurriculars??

I was one of the accepted on the spot kids last year's cyce. I didnt' really have stellar stats but I clicked really really well w/ my interviewer.

A lot of students are sent an acceptance without an interview. I got in the old fashioned way, so I don't know how great your stats had to be to get in without an interview. But a lot of the people that do get accepted w/o interview usually go somewhere else.

i just read your intro on your site. I was actually in the first group of students moved into De neve when it was comlpeted in winter 01' i believe. i was in a lounge room in dirty dykstra. really funny.

My stats are pretty good but I still had to go through an interview, maybe because by SDN standards my application went in a little "late." I really enjoyed the interview however, and it was great to see how much the school has to offer. It made my decision to attend easy.

crap, i think 5th floor, end of the hall. this big girl was the RA. it was 5 yrs ago, can believe it. the building was fairly empty still, but it was like lving in a hotel for 5 months. cleaning service every week.
