actually in my adea guide to dental schools 2008 edition it says for NYU College of Dentistry:

RESIDENCY: No specific requirement (except for New York state beginning 2007).

can anyone clarify?? i was wondering about this earlier with a friend

Pretty sure that's referring to NY state's requirement of a one-year residency after dental school -- not residency as in living there.
