So I got an interview invite to NYU and I scheduled for Jan 8th (this was about 3 weeks ago). I just recieved a letter in the mail saying im rejected lol...whats up with that? Anyways, school was on the bottom of my list so I dont really care but thats messed up.

I just interviewed at NYU on 12/11. I was told that they received 5000 applications for 230 spots. They also recommend that you schedule an interview within max. 3 weeks from the time you are invited. They must have determined you really weren't that interested since you scheduleded for January. Sounds like maybe you didn't want to go there, and sabotaged yourself subconsciously.

Haha that is really weird.... at least you're into the school you wanna go to. But... who knows. Random stuff happens. I guess if you care you can always call them?
