This is not about DAT or NBDE or application requirements. We already have another thread for that.

Isn't it a little too early for this. I mean they're not going to be calling for another month. Interviews don't start till' Jan.

yeah n they will start sending invitations for jan in dec itself.. still it is a bit early for this thread

NYU has cashed my check today..does that mean anything like being reviewed?
 
hello does anybody get any confirmation mail from NYU?? I had mailed my documents to university on 11OCT, but does not get any confirmation mail from them? any suggestions,, I had also emailed them havent got any response from them..

We r in the same boat , hope we will get it soon ,may be they delayed the processing due to sandy last week
 
what is the TOEFL code used to send the reports directly to NYUCD.the code 4285 given in their FAQ's is not working on the TOEFL website.

hello drteeth32,, I had applied one month ago,, bt doesnt got the reply from nyu in acknowledgement. i m just curious to know whether somebody got the completion mail or not?? i think my documents must have reached the university because its one month, are they are taking more time for my documents or they usually take that much of time..

no they don't...but request ur score report from ADA & ETS...even if its late they may consider sometimes....
coz whn I applied last yr during the same time my reports didn't reach thm by dec 1st and I got a mail from thm around dec 7 stating my application is incomplete and they need my reports for application complete.
so try it might work out sometimes...

can u plz give me the contact info of ms mara coz whenever i am calling them they are not picking up the call and even there msg recording service is also full so i cannot drop them a msg.plz help.
 
HI guys , i applied to nyu on 9th october but didnt get completion email yet , is there anybody with the same situation?? or every body got completion email who applied in this time frame??
 
Designated NYU on 2nd Oct ,CAAPID sent it on 4rth Oct and I got a "application complete" e-mail from NYU on 7th Nov
 
dentplay u should talk with MARA,, i had got my completion mail in one month after caapid had forwarded the documents...
 
Can anybody plz post the contact no of MARA pleez..is anybody facing the same problem of not able to contact them because they arent picking up the phone or not have an empty inbox for leaving a message on the phone..

this is Mara's email id u can contact her directly, she usually checks her email regularly and replies.
 
I applied by 10th oct. They received my electronic application from caapid by 26th october. After that I havenet hered anything from them.

They havent replied to my emails and via phone Mara mentioned they are lagging behind so all the mail hasnt been updated on their system. I am not even sure if they have received everything.

But she said that if they have received the score and other mail sooner or later they will update it.
Just not sure when thats going to be.

i applied in the last week of october and sent my suppl. app on Nov 6....and yesterday sent my DAT score and photograph via email and today i received an email saying complete application...

As I saw the old threads, They used to send invitations on 20th Dec. I asked one my close friends who is studying at NYUCD and he had no idea regarding the number of students applied for the class of 2016. If you compare this thread with other schools, it seems that the number of people viewing NYUCD page is extremely fewer than before 😕
 
Received an application complete email finally..now a long wait to receive an iv call which i hope to get from here.

I sent the unofficial DAT copy...How do we send the Official Score report?

NYU is having winter break from 15 Dec. to 2nd jan,,So they may start sending invites this week or after 2nd jan. This is an assumption,, last time they had started invites from 3rd week of December.
 
I was wondering how could nyu send invites in 3rd week of dec which even i had noticed from the previous threads when it is supposed to remain clse from 15th dec..i am so desperately waiting for an invite all this is gettng to my nerves..i wonder how ppl applied for years and went thru multiple rejections..

May be they will send invites in this week,, hope so,,rest nobody knows when they are going to do next,, we all are just guessing,.Getting accepted for DDS is not at all simple,, i am in the same boat as you,, lets hope for the best..fingers crossed,,

I agree. Do you think its because of the DAT requirement earlier in the year which maybe made people not apply? And maybe that's why they decided to change it back to the NBDE w/score to get more applicants idk.

You know, the NBDE part 1 score is very important for NYU, I think people who took part 1 after 2012 preferred to take part 2 than DAT. its logical 😀😀
