Hi, how is everyone studies going,
just another quick question regarding Organic Chem mechanisms, I am primarily relying of Kaplan for my OChem preparations but I noticed that they are missing lots and lots of mechanisms and even for some reagents they miss stuff like addition of heat or light or even more reagent components, so do I need to go back to my text book and dig for all the mechanisms and specifice reagents just in case it might come up or should I just rely on what kaplan has ????

waiting for all of your honest replys especially those of you who actually attmpted the real monster, I would greatly appreciate your advices

have a great day

I think the Kaplan Ochem section is an excellent prep for the real test. I think you only need a general understanding of the mechanism in organic chemistry not the specifics and Kaplan does a great job of that. It also helps if you have taken Ochem recently like I had.
Good luck on the studies and let me know if you need anymore help.

I perfonally found o-chem section easy and Kaplan was right on.
When I was studying o-chem, I felt o-chem section in Kaplan book was watered down and easy but so was DAT test.
But then again, maybe I had easy questions.
When in doubt, look up your notes and text book.
