To all who have taken the DAT, I have a question. I am taking the test on Saturday, but have yet to memorize the H NMR and IR Spectroscopy chemical shifts and absorption peaks for the specific groups. The questions on the Topscore tests seemed to focus on the general concepts behind the procedures. Does the DAT include identification of the functional groups based on absorption peaks/chemical shifts?
