Hey Guys, I read somewhere that you can find out if you pass step 1 before you get your scores in the mail on the OASIS website. Anyone know if this is true? Also, if so, it asks for an ID# and password...is this the ID number you need to bring to the test center (on the orange sheet), or the one they give you at the test center, or what?

Lastly, if anyone has done this, do you know the approximate turn-around time on getting a score?

Thanks a lot for you help!

You use your USMLE id number that you got in an e-mail, not the CIN number on your orange ticket.
You just go to the score report section and see if your score has been reported. If so, try and register for the test, if you passed, they tell you in big red letters that you can't register again. The paper score takes a few day after that depending on where you live.
Good Luck

I'm assuming that you don't go to school in the US. If you do, don't do the oasis trick -- it doesn't work, and only causes severe distress. 🙂
