Hi I am currently studying for the OAT exam and I have a few questions:

How do they grade your exam? do they get an average according to everyone else's score, also do they penalize for wrong answers or leaving blanks? Also i was looking at the entering class profile 2008 on opted.org website and they have AA avg OAT and TS avg OAT, what does that mean and what is the difference? Thank you for your time and your help.

Optometry Admission Test scores are based on the number of correct responses. Candidates are not penalized for guessing. Results are reported as standard scores not raw scores. Standard scores allow the comparison of one candidate's performance with the performance of other candidates. Standard scores range from 200 to 400; 300 signifies average national performance. There are no passing or failing scores. Percentile equivalents are shown for each standard score on the candidate's score report.

AA = Academic Average (includes reading comprehension)
TS = Total Science (does not include RC)
On the Entering Class Profiles, they are average scores of people in the class.
