I take the OAT in 5 days and I am deathly afraid of the Physics section and Organic Section 😱 Are there formulas provided for the Physics section
Any tips on what to do or focus on 1 week before testing?
No formulas given on the physics section, you're expected to know whatever formula you need for a problem. How long have you been studying? Shouldn't you know this already?
From what I remember, there weren't any obscure formulas that I needed to use - just the basics. They'll give you constants if you need them, and I remember a couple of my problems having diagrams.
Also, keep in mind you only get a calculator for the QR section, so any calculations you have for the physics section (or chemistry sections) will have to be done in your head or on your dry erase sheet. If I were you I would spend the last week practicing problems without a calculator. When you're doing practice QR problems use the basic 4 function Windows calculator on your computer because that's what you'll get on the actual test. Good luck!

No formula sheets whatsoever. The only thing they'll give you is a periodic table.

I suggest you get really comfortable with kinematic equations.
Newtonian Mechanics
Work and Energy equation
Power equation
focal length equation
Current equation

gives you mainly the necessities
BUT really focus on the first 3 I mentioned, I believe in every Kaplan Test I did, these had the most questions. Goodluck
just a quick question: do the testing centre provide the necessary tables and charts for chemistry (ie: enthalpy, kpa values) and periodic table of the elements? or do i have to bring this stuff?
thanks
All enthalpy and Ka values will be given. As well as Specific heat and density values.
No equations will be given, you will need to know how to use the given values.
Periodic table will be available, it will be in the button labeled Exhibit.
Good luck
