OAT: Math was hard, so was Physics

For those that wrote the OAT; the QR was the hardest...save the best for last 🙄 great i dont wanna know what my score is. i had to bubble in quite a bit 5 mins before the end, i think i got around 25 right 🙁

physics was also difficult for me, i thought & bio/gen chem was fair, orgo was mediocre... the RC was good too.

i dont wanna think about scores 🙁 when do they come in anways??

Whoa.....i'm brain dead after that test today.

I didn't think it was THAT bad. I thought all was alrite except the reading part. I didn't get to the last passage so i guessed B's the whole way. I hope there's a lot of B's answers 😉

I don't want to predict or say anymore b/c i think i would jinks it.

Oh i remember something, on that physics part, there is one multiple choice question that has two exact choices!

i can't remember the question but i think the choices that were alike were choices "(a), (c) 52 cotangent...something" i picked (a) because i think that choice (c) was meant to be the number 38, complementary angle of 52, so that was the only question i think i need to write to the OAT writers and make them correct that. Alrite, enough said, no more sayings until i get my scores back. 😎

Wow, next year this time I'm probably going to be saying the same thing about the O.A.T.
A lot of my friends from UH took it yesterday; I should be seeing a bunch of them today and I'll hear their version of it. Kaplan offered a mock O.A.T. for us a few weeks ago, and everyone that took it said it was pretty hard.

 

[Reality check]

Guys do not stress out over the OAT's. You will all be accepted in one Optometry school or the other. Even if it means going to a private one- you all shoild have no problem gaining admission unless your undergrad. records are really poor.
Just have $150,000 ready and in 4 years you'll all be OD's.
Bragging how proud you are of your profession.

I thought overall, the test wasn't too bad, I think the hardest part for me was probably the bio section (pretty pathetic seeing as thats my major). But anyhow, not as bad as I thought it was gonna be. I heard that sometimes the the scores get to the schools before you get them at home, so maybe we'll be hearing about our OAT at some interviews coming up. (yikes). I just wish we could find out sooner. I'm assuming everyone on this forum got 400's across the board right?🙂

RC i guess ur kinda looking out for us in the sense that you want us to spend our money wisely; so its all good. i think though that for some people it is an important consideration and to some people it isnt relly.
