OAT prep material question

Hi everyone,

I would just like to know if anyone could recommend the best OAT prep text to purchase. I read in one of the posts that the "OAT secrets" is very bad and that some others are not very detailed as well, but is there any out there that is worth buying? (i.e. OAT achiever or Kaplan?) Please help.

well ive purchased a few things and have liked them all. achiever is pretty good because it simulates the OAT test acurately besides the RC section, i would recommend it so you can get an idea of how much time you have on the real thing, the problem is, is that there is only 3 tests for each section. I also liked the OAT destroyer, even though i havent looked at it much. It has a TON of problems to get you on your A game. Besides that, text books... help lol. well good luck, i hope that helps

I used the Kaplan book and liked it a lot. It was a good book to work through for practice. I also used Topscore but didn't do all the tests because of time restraints but Topscore helped me get into a timed test situation similar to the OATs.

I have the Kaplan OAT Book, the lesson book, the flashcards for subjects: Biology, physics, chem or org ( great for riding to school and before sleeping), formula sheets - really handy esp the organic part, Kaplan OAT 2007-8 book with 2 practice sets, and two full lengths.

I also have the Rudmann OAT book with over 29 admissions tests

as well.... i have some practice DAT exams- very similar to OAT bc the ppl who write the DAT also write the OAT

I got 350TS 340AA 🙂 I'm sure you can score higher if you spend more time than I did of course...i was flying each week for interviews the month i did my OAT

I took my OAT and got a 350 I took the students suggestions and I bought the KAPLAN OAT MATERIALS from a student who posted on this websites classifieds. I studied all the kaplan materials and in addition there is a KAPLAN 2007-2008 book that has more exams and detail answer to exams. the more test you do the better prepared to are. Also you should buy the TopScore CD this provides the timing testing which was a great extra resource most of my suggestions came from the students. I actually still have my OAT KAPLAN MATERIALS.GOOD LUCK
