Hey there, I am new to the forum. I am sure there are many people with the same question. For you guys who already made it into optometry school. What books should I try to purchase and where should I purchase to get ready for the OAT? I am studying this summer. I also heard that OAT DESTROYER was a good company to buy from, but their books and all are $200+. I was wondering if that was worth it, any experience from you guys would be gladly appreciated! Please help me prepare for my future!

If you are on a budget then you can ask people you know for study materials. I bought the DAT Destroyer from a student that already got into dental school and then studied the physics on my own. I was already good at physics so that's why I did it that way but if you are not good then I suggest you get the real OAT Destroyer. I also bought the Kaplan OAT book. There are also plenty of free study materials online.

I spent $30 for the DAT destroyer, heck of a deal - but I haggled 🙂 and I think ~$45 for the Kaplan OAT book, that's it.

Search my old threads. I wrote a review on this very thing that your asking. It's been covered a ton.
