Hi guys,

I just took the OAT today and my scores were not stellar. I have a 3.60 GPA and am applying this summer. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they think I should retake...

QR: 290
RC: 330
BIO: 330
GCHEM: 330
OCHEM: 310
PHYS: 310
TS: 330 (76.6th percentile)
AA: 320 (65.6 percentile)

Schools might wonder why a 290 in QR but I doubt you would be required to retake. I would reach out to the schools you intend to apply to for clarification.

Okay great, thank you! So you think my other scores should suffice? I am going to contact all of the schools I plan on applying to.

The only schools that suggested I should MAYBE retake were Berkeley and SCCO. Berkeley said they were "a little low for their range" but that my GPA was strong enough to be considered. SCCO said they were competitive for admission but if I wanted scholarship money I should consider retaking and attempting to reach the mid 300s. Most of the other schools actually said they were strong scores and congratulated me (which I thought was interesting).

Bottom line, I am not retaking (mostly due to financial reasons), and the fact that I have already heard back about interviews from two of the seven schools I applied to.

For reference, I applied to NECO, Salus, SUNY, Ohio State, Pacific University, Berkeley, and SCCO. I have heard back about interviews from Ohio State and Pacific U. And my application was just verified today.
