It is a GREAT day!

I took on the OAT today and I am so happy to let you all know my scores:

AA - 370
TS - 380
Bio - 390
Chem - 340
Organic Chem - 390
Comprehensive Reading - 350
Physics - 370
Quantitative Reasoning - 380

I'm now pretty sure I will be going to OPTOMETRY SCHOOL in the fall of 2009!🙂

Cheers! I am now going out to celebrate! Good luck to all who are preparing to write still this summer. Study hard it will pay off - I am proof of that!

Great job, so how did you study and how long did you study for? I am hoping to take mine at the end of August. I have been using the Kaplan workbook. Do you have any suggestions on the physics and reading sections? Thanks

Those are really good scores. Was the QR tough at all? From the practice OAT it seems pretty basic nothing too complicated with the word problems and basic math. I'm writing the test on Friday and I hope I do as well as you. I think I can muster up some awesomeness and score a 360 or 370. My reading comp is about a 340 which is lowest for me except physics. I don't know what I'll get on that well see. Where do you want to go to school??

Congrats! those are EXCELLENT scores, go out and celebrate just don't slack off too hard if you are still a student and good luck with your applications 🙂

I studied for 8 weeks. I used the Kaplan OAT book (this was all I used) and I thought it was great.

I felt I was having difficulties with the physics but I think the actual exam is a lot easier than the Kaplan problems.

As for the reading, I would suggest quickly reading science journal articles or science newspaper articles. Just keep reading non-fiction every night before bed.

I did not find the QR section difficult it was pretty straight forward.

I did not find that I had any surprises on the test and I did not have any time issues.

I am Canadian so my first choice of schools is Waterloo. As for American schools, I have had my OAT scores sent to ICO, SCO, and SCCO.

PS, I never can slack off! I am taking the weekend off! But I start summer classes next week.
