So after reading a couple of the threads, I noticed how some people would mention that they need a "xxx" score for a x.xx gpa. Can someone tell me how exactly I can figure out my minimal OAT score for a GPA of 3.6?

i don't think that's necessarily the case. There are PLENTY of other factors in an applicant status in terms of chances to get in. I think looking at the class profiles help. That gives you a good preview on where you should aim for... but also there are always exceptions.

what??? not sure what those people were talking about. most schools prefer a minimum of 300 for each of the sections.

There is no such mathematical formula for what you "need" to score on the OAT to get accepted. In my opinion, if you are prepared you should score no lower than 300 on any section. Admissions committees have noted that the trend for OAT scores coincides with your gpa, for example, if you have a 3.6 GPA your AA would be around a 360 and 3.0 around a 300. If there are vast differences you will most likely be asked during your interview to explain what happened. Also, if you have a "weaker area" in your application, for example C's in organic chem, make sure you excel in that section of the OAT.

Shoot for a 400 and leave no doubt of getting accepted.
