Ob/Gyn Interviews: When do they start sending them out ?

I would like to know when most OB/GYN programs start sending out their interviews?

Most programs will send out their invitations after November 1st when the Dean's letters come out.

Every program is different. When I went through the process two years ago I received some invites in August and some as late as November. Just depends on the program's interview schedule. Don't worry if you haven't received invites yet, they will come.

Check out the thread "Interview invites 2008-2009" and you can see who has been offered interviews at different schools and the date that the interview was offered. You will notice a bit of a trend for certain schools.

Let me clarify, most of the big name programs do not offer invitations until after the the Dean's letters come out. You may see some invitations, but those will probably go to those applicants who are AOA, honors, well-published, etc.
