hours and estrogen. too much of both.









at least that's the stigma. it is long in hours, but I had a good time doing it. delivering a baby is an awesome thing.

Where should I start?

Seriously, it is mainly the people that you work with that make it a pain. Residents and Attendings are miserable because they are sleep-deprived and hate life, the unbelievable cat fights trickle down to you to a point where you are crawling on the floor to dodge the bullets getting your scrub pants all dirty, some women just don't want to PUUUUUSSH, the babies don't stop coming on the nights you need sleep the most...just to name a few.

for us, people hate the ob and gyn-onc hours, but otherwise i don't think it's any more disliked than other rotations.
