I am an OMS-III and was talking with my father-in-law, a family practice physician,over the holiday weekend about my aspirations to go into PM&R; he stated he was talking to the local physiatrist whom expressed his concern with regards to how ObamaCare is going to change the PM&R field specifically. From my understanding and the information presented to me at this year's Assembly in ATL, the least invasive and lowest cost procedures will be much more common with ObamaCare (which, to my understanding, align well with PM&R).
