If I am attending oblc after graduation mid June-end July, and then directly going to an AEGD, how does the moving of my apartment work?

Do the movers take all my stuff and move it to storage till end July and then transfer to my AEGD location? Or do I need to sign an extra month or two of lease?

They'll move all your stuff into storage until you're ready for it at your AEGD location. You're allowed 90 days storage.

btw, army would pay for your rent during your training, if you could provide the rent lease covering the training dates.

When does the AEGD program begin each year? August?

When you graduate school and are ready to head out to OBLC you will want to have the movers come and get your stuff.

If you graduate dental school and have a period of time before OBLC and you were going to go take a vacation - they can pick it up early too when you are ready to get out of your apartment.

They will then move it to your first duty assignment and it will sit in storage there. They will be able to coordinate the move in date fairly soon after your arrival. If you wait until after OBLC to move your stuff you may be without it for several weeks.

1 yr AEGD programs in the Army start in September after everyone is done with OBLC. 2 yr AEGD programs begin on 1 July along with all other specialty programs in the Army.
