Hi everyone! I thought it might be nice to start a thread where we can trade interview dates since trying to switch with the schools can mean being thrown on a long waiting list.

Anyone have an interview with MUSC (south carolina) on Nov.20th and willing to switch for Dec.1?? I'm couples matching and my SO's interview is the nov. 20th and it'd be much more fun (and cheaper) to go together.

Pretty sure that isn't allowed. At least, it certainly wasn't when I was interviewing last year. Good luck sorting your schedule!

PLEASE call or email the program coordinator and work out an alternate date. Do not swap interview dates. I repeat....do not swap interview dates. There is an enormous amount of paperwork and preparation that goes into making the interviews happen, and if someone shows up on a different date than they were scheduled, it will not be a happy thing for either candidate.

I certainly was not suggesting people swap dates and not clear it with the program first. This thread is simply meant to be a way for people to find each other and then together contact programs about their proposed swap.
