Hi Everyone,

I am in the process of applying to OT programs and some of the schools require a resume with the application.

I am wondering if I should include my observation hours with the resume or if I should keep it to just my employment details as the hours will need to be verified etc.. anyway.

Does anyone have any experience with this at all?

Thanks so much.

David

No, observation hours are a requirement for school applications, so they do not go on your resume. They'll go on whatever form the school requires you to submit, or in OTCAS, to show that you met their required number of hours. While it's exposure to the profession, it's not experience, since you don't do anything more than watch.
