A few years ago I made significant contributions to a specific chapter of a medical reference textbook. The textbook was released in the past 2 weeks and is for sale for nearly $300.
Is there any way for me to contact the publisher to obtain a copy, since I made contributions to the book and am listed in the book's contributors section? Or will I have to just pony up the cash and buy it like everyone else?
PS. I don't want a copy just because my name is in it, I feel that the book is very useful and that I'd benefit quite a bit from having it! 😛
Thanks in advance.
