I am a Canadian student pursuing undergraduate studies in the US. I will be a second year student this fall. Is it possible to obtain a green card and if yes, how long does it take?

No not possible, unless you marry an American or a company that hires you sponsers you. In the latter case, you still have to wait at least five years.
