Those of you using Botox for occipital neuralgia - what is the dose you are using??

Varies, but would start with around 100 U. Inject about 5 U every 1 cm or so.....make sure you get the splenius capitis, semispinalis capitis, and rectus capitis muscles.

I start at 50 units. My technique is similar to NOSfan in which I place 2.5 - 5 units every 1cm.
