Is this question wrong? cuz I thought according to Kaplan book that ketal is when we do not have any H branch and acetal is when we have an H branch left as well as to OR and one R let me know what you think.
 
No its not wrong an acetal is a R-O-R-O-R group. Choice B is the answer. And again when asking a question like this post the entire question.

As for the OPs question, the way I remember it, the acetal comes from a hemiacetal (+alcohol) which has an unreactive H group left, while the Ketal comes from a hemiketal which already has 2 R groups attached as well as the ether and OH.
