Ochem as a second language book HELP!

i was going to buy ochem as a second language cuz this is what im having the most trouble

I was looking at online books and they have several editions and books

like mastering fundamental skills, first semester topic, second semester topic, translating the basic concepts..

so far i found 4 books


Which ones should i buy? All of them?

and can you guys recommend me some good editions or it doesnt matter?

hmmm, if you are talking about second language, I got both first and second semester topic. They are titled as follow, Ochem I translating the basic concepts and second Ochem II second semester topic. This is UP TO YOU, but I used Organic Chemistry by Paula Bruice http://www.amazon.com/Organic-Chemistry-5th-Paula-Bruice/dp/0131963163/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1324724661&sr=8-3. This is an older version but I see almost no difference with the newer version. I haven't taken DAT yet, but when i took mock exams and when i took destroyer problems, I was scoring nearly 30 and get about 80% of questions right on destroyer on the first run. This is personally UP TO YOU, I'm just suggesting what I found useful to myself. If you buy a used one it costs you a 5 buck. After mastering this book, although might be an overkill, I could guarantee you at least 21 in the ochem section. Best luck.

First and second semester topics are all help full. There is also a textbook by the same author David R Klein. It is very helfull in making you understand tough concepts.

Organic Chemistry as a Second Language I is the ****.. I think i had the blue edition (maybe 3rd edition?) and it taught me everything i needed for organic.. didn't even go to class, just read that book multiple times and it helped tremendously.. I am taking Organic II next semester and getting the 2nd book and saving both of them for review for the DAT.

I would definitely get both of those books
