has anyone noticed how Kaplan has a good 2 chapters on these, while the outline for the DAT on ada.org doesnt even mentions cards/prot [they are more of a biochem subject anyways]

has any one acutally had a carbs/prot specific Q on the DAT????

Yep, I had 1 question about the anomeric carbon on glucose and 1 about the predominant form of glutamate at ph1

nice. was the question about glutamate in regards to its structure with excess positive charges? or did you have to know what glutamate looks like? like do you think we have to memorize what all amino acids, proteins look like armorshell? that would not be fun. 😳
