For question 60 in the 2015 destroyer ochem section it presents 1,2 dimethyl cyclopentane and asks how many constitutional and stereo isomers exist for it. The answer is 7 because it only considers cyclicpentane isomers. Wouldn't other 7 carbon alkenes or cyclo butanes also be considered constitutional isomers? Constitutional isomers are just different ways to bond the same carbons together. There would be a ton of isomers then, too many for a multiple choice question?

Yea I asked Dr. Romano this. It was a small mistake. Pretend it says only cyclopentanes allowed
