Is it beneficial to take the Ochem Lab with the Lecture at the same time? I really want to take 18 credit hours fall 2006, but cannot if I take the Ochem lab. Will med schools frown upon waiting until junior year to take Ochem Lab separately?

I hope they don't frown on it because I had Organic Chemistry 1 and 2 in 1997 and I'm taking the lab next semester! 😱 This summer I get to re-teach myself all that is good in pushing electrons. Ah, the wonderful life of a non-traditional applicant.

Seriously, don't sweat it. They don't care one bit.

Depends on the school. I don't think our labs were very closely matched to lecture. I would get a Zubrick (author) Organic Lab book. Has all you should need to know about lab techniques.
