Hi, I am currently studying for Dat especially Ochem part. It's been a while since I took ochem but anyways,,,,

do we need to memorize reagent too? i assume we need to know know reactants/products pretty well, cuz we have to select the right reactants or products on the question. How about the reagent?

Does DAT ever ask us to select the right reagents too?

its best to memorize the reagents.

There are thousands of reactants/products which they can throw at you and there's no way you can memorize them all. seriously nobody does.

If you know what the reagent does then if given a reactant you will know the product. and if given the product you can determine what the reactant was.

You could also see questions which asks you if given X reactant and we want Y product. which set of reagents would do you use.
